Jason Malmberg and Dr. Mark Szynkaruk bring complementary expertise at the intersection of energy, infrastructure, and advanced technology.

 

Jason is an entrepreneur and energy infrastructure developer with over two decades of experience spanning resource operations, international trade, and large-scale digital infrastructure. Mark is a physician, engineer, and technology executive specializing in artificial intelligence, healthcare, and industrial-scale systems.

 

Together, they combine deep operational experience, technical leadership, and strategic vision to advance Trident Digital’s mission at the convergence of energy, AI, and high-performance computing.

Dr. Mark Szynkaruk

Dr. Mark Szynkaruk is a physician, engineer, and technology executive working at the intersection of artificial intelligence, healthcare, and industrial-scale infrastructure.

 

He holds a degree in Biochemical Engineering from Western University, a Doctor of Medicine from the University of Toronto, and completed postgraduate medical training at the University of British Columbia, where he also serves as Clinical Faculty.

 

He is the Chief Medical Officer of Neoptio Health Incorporated, an AI-driven mental health pre-diagnostic platform, and has co-authored seven patents in applied AI. Dr. Szynkaruk also co-manages an industrial holdings company focused on industrial assets and land management, bringing operational and infrastructure experience to Trident Digital.

Jason Malmberg

Jason Malmberg is an entrepreneur and energy infrastructure developer with over 20 years of experience spanning resource operations, international trade, and energy-intensive digital infrastructure. He began his career in Alberta’s oil and gas sector, working hands-on on pipeline crews and service rigs before moving into leadership roles.

 

After relocating to China in 2003, he led sales for a nutraceutical company and founded an international trade and consulting firm specializing in commodities between China and North America, a business he continues to operate today.

Since 2019, Jason has focused on digital and energy infrastructure, leading the development of approximately 20 MW of Bitcoin mining data centers across Western Canada and managing projects in three provinces.

 

His current work centers on energy assets, behind-the-fence power generation, modular facilities, and reliable power solutions for AI data centers and high-performance computing.
